RECRUIT
I don't build many WWII subjects, but this one caught my eye. It's the 1/72 Takom Silbervogel Suborbital Bomber.
The Silbervogel (Silver Bird) was designed by Eugen Sanger in the late 1930s as a liquid-propellant rocket-powered suborbital bomber to be produced for Nazi Germany. The Silbervogel was designed to fly long distances in a series of short hops beginning its mission along a 2-mile rail track. Once airborne, it was to fire its own rocket engines and continue to climb to an altitude of 90 miles travelling about 13,500 mph. Due to prohibitive costs, the design never went beyond the mock-up wind tunnel test.
