I've still got a little way to go with the details, but I couldn't resist showing some impromptu pictures of this. There's no fancy lighting on these, I'm afraid - just my desk lamp - but they came out OK for phone pictures, I think. The water still needs some finishing touches, and there's a little more rope 'rigging' to be done on the legs.

Holy AT-ST Ray!!! Nice work so far!
This is coming along great! I can see why you were eager to show it off! :)
What will you be using to make the water?
Super amazing, thanks for sharing! :cool:llap

Absolutely gorgeous work Ray! Outstanding!
What did you use for the water?
Thanks so much! For the water I first poured some two part resin that I lightly coloured with a few drops of green paint. Once that was cured, I added several layers of Vallejo Water Texture. It can only be used in layers of a few millimetres, but it makes it much easier to add ripples and streaks, as it sets much more rapidly. It looks pretty good in life, but it simply refuses to photograph well. If the weather improves at all, then I'll try some natural light photography, but the incessant wind, rain, and hail we've been having has been a hindrance to going outside ;)
